In detail
What each job covers
Boiler Repair
Inspection of the boiler casing, controls, and burner. Testing ignition, flame, and pressure. Repair or replacement of faulty components. System refill and bleed if needed.
When you need it. Boiler won't fire up, has no flame, is leaking water, showing fault codes, or losing pressure overnight.
Before you get in touch. Note the boiler make and model. Write down any error codes visible on the display.
Emergency Leaks
Locating the source of the leak. Isolating the damaged pipework or joint. Replacing fittings or rerouting pipe runs. Testing the repair under pressure.
When you need it. Water actively dripping or spraying from pipes, ceilings, under floors, or at joint connections.
Before you get in touch. Turn off the water supply at the stopcock if the leak is severe and you can locate it.
Drain Unblocking
Removing blockages using plungers, drain rods, or a powered auger. Flushing the pipe clean. Checking the trap and inspection chamber if accessible.
When you need it. Sink drains slowly, toilet won't flush fully, or water backs up in the bath or shower.
Before you get in touch. Note which drain is affected and whether it affects multiple outlets in the house.
Central Heating
Installing or replacing radiators and their valves. Fitting or repairing pipe runs and fittings. Balancing the system and adjusting flow to each radiator.
When you need it. Radiators won't heat, some rooms stay cold, pipes are corroded, or the system needs expansion.
Before you get in touch. List which radiators work and which don't. Check if the boiler fires up normally.
Bathroom Fitting
Running hot and cold supply pipes. Installing toilet waste connections and soil pipework. Fitting bath, shower, toilet, and basin with their isolating valves.
When you need it. Bathroom renovation, replacing old suite, or installing plumbing in a new bathroom space.
Before you get in touch. Have the bathroom layout, measurements, and your fixture choices ready to discuss.
General Plumbing
Repair or replacement of taps, sink wastes, and overflow pipes. Fixing joint leaks and frozen pipes. Installing new tap runs and checking water pressure.
When you need it. Tap drips, water pressure is low, joints weep, or you need a new tap installed.
Before you get in touch. Identify which tap or fitting is faulty and whether it's the hot, cold, or both supplies.

How your reviews will look
Your Google rating will show here, in place of the grey stars below.
Reviews are pulled from your Google Business Profile, so this section fills itself. Nothing to write, nothing to keep up to date.
The most recent reviews show first, so the page keeps pace with the work without anyone touching it.
Sample layout. The three cards above are not real reviews and no rating is claimed.
Reviews are pulled from your Google Business Profile the day this site becomes yours. If you are not collecting them yet, the quickest start is to ask your last five customers.
Good to know
Common questions
General guidance about plumbers in the UK, not specific to any one business.
How do I know if a boiler needs repair or just a service?
A service is routine maintenance on a healthy boiler. A repair is needed when the boiler won't ignite, has no flame, leaks water, shows fault codes, or loses pressure. If in doubt, a visual inspection can confirm whether work is needed.
What causes kitchen sink and toilet blockages?
Hair, grease, food waste, and soap accumulate inside pipes and at bends. Toilet paper and wet wipes cause blockages even though some are marked flushable. Tree roots can also penetrate external drains over time.
Where is the water stopcock usually located?
The main stopcock is typically inside the house at the point where the water main enters—under the kitchen sink, in a utility room, or near the front of the building. Checking now, before an emergency, saves time and damage later.
Can I fix a leaking pipe joint myself?
Small weeping joints can sometimes be tightened with a wrench, but only if they aren't corroded. Active sprays or jets from joints usually need the fitting replaced. Soldered copper joints cannot be re-tightened and require cutting out and replacement.
Why does my boiler lose pressure?
Pressure loss is usually caused by a small leak in the system—on pipework, radiator valves, or the boiler itself. Sometimes the pressure relief valve opens if pressure climbs too high. Both need investigation to stop water loss and restore the system.
How does a central heating system work?
The boiler heats water which circulates through pipes to radiators in each room. Thermostatic valves on radiators control how much heat enters each space. The pump keeps the water moving. A pressure vessel and safety valve protect the sealed system.
